Eggnog Dump Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 1 cup eggnog
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted or not)
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • icing for serving optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • In the prepared baking pan, spread the dry white cake mix evenly on the bottom.
  • Pour the eggnog evenly over the cake mix layer.
  • Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix and eggnog or cut the butter into little cubes to spread on top
  • Sprinkle ground nutmeg and ground cinnamon on top of the mixture.
  • Optional: Sprinkle the chopped pecans or walnuts over the top for added texture and flavor.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cake is set.
  • Serve the Egg Nog Dump Cake warm with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
