Easy Tofu Stir Fry

Homemade Tofu Stir Fry is an easy alternative to takeout and much better for you. It’s ready to go in less than 30 minutes and the fam will love it!

This Tofu Stir Fry recipe couldn’t be easier if you tried! All you need is a pack of extra firm tofu and a veggie stir fry bag from the grocery store. I found mine right at Walmart! Easy peasy!

Why Make this Stir Fry recipe?

I can go on and on why this us a must make, but let’s get to the basics! here are a few reasons to convince you!

Inexpensive: Skip the takeout and make this simple meal for super cheap! It probably cost me under $20 at Walmart and it was enough to have two really big portions or 3 normal sized ones LOL

Fast & Simple: In under 30 minutes you can have this delicious Tofu Stir Fry ready to eat. It’s a dream come true really.

Healthy for you: There are so many greens in this as well as protein! If you are someone who doesn’t eat meat or simply doesn’t like it, add this to ya recipe book!

Easy-Tofu-Stir-Fry

Ingredients you need:

  • Extra firm tofu – this is an important part of the dish! Don’t forget it!
  • Veggie and stir fry bag: This was super simple! I just plucked a bag from Walmart and it had mixed veggies all diced and ready for me to go!
  • Seasoning: Spice it up however you like! I always stick to garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and a little black pepper
  • Olive Oil – my go to for all of my cooking. You can use sesame oil if you want!

Can I Add Different Veggies?

Go on right ahead girlfriend!! The world is your oyster! Here are some suggestions:

  • Cauliflower
  • Green beans
  • Bell peppers
  • Green onions
  • More brussels or broccoli

Also try to use fresh veggies, not the frozen kind!

Storage

Lucky for you storing this bad boy is super duper easy! Just let everything cool down completely and then transfer for an airtight container. Store in the fridge for up to 3-5 days!

Easy Meal Prep

Did I mention just how awesome this recipe is?? Literally you can spread it out into little portions for your meals throughout the week. don’t be like me and eat the whole pan in one night. You might want to savor it a bit!

Easy Tofu Stir Fry

Course: Breakfast, Dinner, Lunch

Ingredients

  • 1 pack extra firm tofu
  • 1 bag veggie and stir fry kit
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • seasonings

Instructions

  • In a skillet , warm up some olive oil and add your tofu cubes to your skillet. Add a little bit of onion and garlic powder, dash of salt and some pepper.
  • If you want them a bit crispier try and flip them to brown all sides. If you don’t have that much patience like me. Just gently shuffle them across the pan to cook all sides
  • In another pan, add some oil and pour your veggie mix (mine had cabbage, broccoli, and snap crisps)
  • When those are cooked toss in your tofu and add your sauce.
  • You can keep it plain and just add more salt, oil and garlic powder or add soy sauce to your dish.
